I don’t know if that title makes sense. This is a chart of what version of the Crystal Reports IDE matches up with which version of the Crystal Reports for .Net (according to my past knowledge + a conversation I just had with an SAP representative on the phone).
| Crystal Reports for .Net Version | Full Crystal IDE Version |
| Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2002 (Version 9) | Crystal Reports 9 |
| Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2003 (Version 9.2) | Crystal Reports 9 |
| Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2005 (Version 10.2) | Crystal Reports 10 |
| Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008 (Version 10.5) | Crystal Reports 2008 (12) |
| Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 (Version 13) | Crystal Reports 2011 (Version 14) |
Thanks! I was looking for the same info and was about to submit a ticket to SAP.
Is there any way to include crystal reports to MS Visual Studio 2012 and .NET 4.0 or 4.5 framework.
Crystal Reports hasn’t come out with their stuff for 2012 yet. Usually their full blown IDE lines up to a Crystal Reports for Visual Studio release. They haven’t released their official 2012 tools yet. I have a lot of custom Crystal Reports code so I’ve been using the full blown version 14 editor and then I have custom .Net code that calls those reports. The old controls should continue to work for the most part until they come out with the new versions. I’m not sure I worded this well, hope it makes sense.
